Robert Todd is Owner and Manager of World Class Travel which he founded in 1983. Robert has
counseled travelers for over 20 years and is primarily an international travel specialist and his customer
service skills and contacts make him the primary problem solver. In addition to Robert’s full time
duties at World Class Travel he is involved in the community as a volunteer, appointed by the City of
Gainesville, to the Gainesville Alachua County Regional Airport Authority, and is very much involved in
securing new and expanded air service for Gainesville. Robert has traveled the world extensively, having
circled the globe 7 times, 25 visits to Asia, over 60 trips to Latin America, and several times to Europe and
the Far East. Robert is involved in the ongoing training of staff. Robert has developed his own methods and
techniques to impart skills to the travel professionals and his mentor relationship inspires creative
solutions, confidence, and the best quality from his staff. Robert has trained three employees who later
became successful travel agency owners. |
Kay Bublitz, Office Manager of World Class Travel, graduated from American Express Travel School, Phoenix,
Arizona, in 1992. Kay worked at American Express on the Arizona State University campus for one year
where her duties included reservations, ticketing, quality control, and ARC report preparation. Kay then
worked at the General Electric Travel Center in Phoenix for one year in corporate reservations. As a
member of the Mentor program there she worked in customer service with high volume accounts. Kay joined World
Class Travel as a corporate specialist in 1994. Kay’s dedication to servicing corporate accounts earned
her a promotion to Office Manager in 1997. |
